Client:

Urban Air Design Limited

Scope of works:

Storyboard, Key visual

Developed the storyboard and key visual direction for a branded video campaign, focusing on translating the core message into a clear visual narrative before animation production. The project involved structuring the sequence of scenes, defining key compositions and establishing the overall visual style to guide the subsequent animation process. The final key visual provided a consistent reference for colour, typography, graphic treatment and overall art direction throughout the video.

Imapct:

The storyboard created a clear visual framework for the production team, helping align the narrative, pacing and scene transitions before animation began. By establishing the key visual at an early stage, the project also ensured a consistent visual language across different scenes and reduced ambiguity during production. This provided the animation team with a stronger creative foundation while helping the client visualise how the final video would communicate its message.

Challenges:

The main challenge was translating the campaign message into a concise sequence of visuals that could be understood clearly before any motion was applied. Each storyboard frame needed to communicate composition, hierarchy and narrative progression while leaving enough flexibility for the animation team to develop movement and transitions. Another challenge was creating a key visual strong enough to define the overall look and feel of the video while ensuring it could be adapted consistently across multiple scenes and formats.
